Disney Animations, in collaboration with Kugali Media, has unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming sci-fi animated series “Iwaju.” Set in a futuristic Nigeria and written by Adeola Hudson and Halima Hudson, the narrative revolves around Tola, an affluent islander, embarking on an exploration journey through Lagos with her friend Kole.
As they navigate the bustling city, they find themselves entangled in the perilous web of Bode, a tech pioneer orchestrating a criminal underworld. When situations escalate, Tola’s father, aunt, and her tech companion, Otin, intervene to save the day.
“Iwaju,” crafted by creators Hamid Ibrahim, Toluwalakin Olowofoyeko, and director Ziki Nelson, boasts a stellar cast of Nigerian talents, including Dayo Okeniyi, Simisola Gbadamosi, Femi Branch, Siji Soetan, Weruche Opia, Shaffy Bello, Obi Maduegbuna, Kehinde Bankole, Chioma Omeruah, Bisola Ayeiola, Tosin Oshinaike, and Lala Akindoju, who also serves as the casting director.
