Union Bank, a one of the major bank in Nigeria, urged everyone to take care of the environment for the future. They partnered with the Nigerian Conservation Foundation for World Environment Day on June 5th.
The event, held in Lagos, brought together activists, government officials, and students. They planted trees to fight desertification, which is when land dries out and turns to desert.
Patricia Iwhewhe from Union Bank spoke at the event. She said everyone needs to help protect the environment from problems like soil erosion. The Bank is committed to a sustainable future and will keep supporting efforts to protect our planet.
The Nigerian Conservation Foundation is a great partner in protecting nature. They’ve helped shape Nigeria’s environmental policies for many years. The Bank will keep working with them to preserve the environment.
Union Bank has many projects to create a healthier and more sustainable environment. Their work is a sign of hope for a brighter future.
