In a remarkable feat, 13-year-old programmer Joshua Agboola has made waves in the tech world by becoming the youngest AWS Developer Associate in Africa after skillfully hacking his way through the challenges.
Joshua stated in an interview with NAN that he had to pass through rigorous studying sessions that lingered for about 5 hours every day for six weeks before he was able to nail the grueling two-hour examination that tested his skills and knowledge in deploying, troubleshooting, and developing on the AWS cloud platform.
Joshua credited his father’s encouragement and the idea of becoming the youngest AWS developer that fueled his drive to achieve this remarkable feat.
“The light bulb went up in my head, and I began studying the next day. The possibility of clinching the title of the youngest Developer Associate in the world, which is an equivalent of a world record in the cloud space, also became a strong motivation for me,’’ he said.
The 13-year-old internet sensation proudly shared that his accomplishments in the cloud space have received recognition, stating, “A tech company in Lagos has already offered to provide me with further technical mentorship.”
He humbly dedicated his achievement to aspiring young individuals looking to pursue a career in technology. Joshua encouraged them to fearlessly pursue their dreams and embrace the opportunities that come their way.
