In an era where technology seems to know no bounds, the world of technology has taken flight, quite literally. Domino’s has taken Pizza Delivery to New Heights.
Domino’s has made a groundbreaking leap in the field by launching the first-ever pizza delivery. Jetpack in collaboration with Gravity Industries, renowned for their jet suits. This innovative venture was unveiled to coincide with the highly anticipated Glastonbury Festival, where the legendary Elton John took the stage as the headline act at the Pyramid Stage on Sunday.
The Domino’s delivery rocket-man took off from a nearby Glastonbury store and soared over picturesque hedge-lined fields to deliver pizzas directly to campers.
Sam Wilson, representing Domino’s, explained in an interview with The Independent that the inspiration for this extraordinary endeavor came from the realization that serving pizza slices inside the festival grounds would be impractical. Drawing inspiration from Elton John, the festival’s headline act, Domino’s embarked on their own rapid delivery trial using a jetpack—an idea that seemed like an obvious choice.
Wilson further elaborated, stating, “Every year, we receive numerous unusual requests from festival-goers attempting to sneak pizza into the party. Therefore, this year, we decided to take a giant leap forward and trial our very own rocket man service, offering hungry campers a slice of sky-high satisfaction for the future.”
As the awe-inspiring invention unfolds before our eyes, we wonder if this pioneering breakthrough will pave the way for a nationwide fleet of rocket-powered delivery systems.
