Musa Jeffery David’s creation, ‘Blood Vessel,’ unfolds a gripping on-sea survival drama with unexpected twists, as revealed in the recently released trailer. In the brief online clip, a group of young men embarks on a perilous sea journey, which quickly turns into a bloody fight for survival.
Produced by Fafa Bello Osagie, Roxanne Adekunle-Wright, and Agozie Ugwu, ‘Blood Vessel’ marks a significant release from Play Network Studios following Charles Okpaleke’s collaboration with a Namibian studio for ‘The Skeleton Coast.’ Helmed by director Moses Inwang, the cast features Adaobi Lilian Dibor, David Ezekiel, Levi Chikere, and an ensemble of talented actors.
As the debut crime thriller from Play Network Studios, ‘Blood Vessel’ joins an exciting lineup of upcoming titles, including ‘Glamour Girl’ (sequel), ‘Hijack 93,’ ‘The Six,’ ‘Diamond Ring’ (Remake), ‘King Jaja of Opodo,’ and ‘Shina Rambo,’ as announced by the production company in November 2022. Save the date – ‘Blood Vessel’ is set to premiere on Netflix on December 8, 2023.
