It looks like the Bureau de Change dealers are gearing up for some action, and it’s a move to help us all out. Thank goodness!
They’ve decided to step in and assist the CBN in stabilizing our beloved naira on the foreign exchange market.
You know, the big gap between the black market and the official exchange rate is alarming, and nobody is having a good time. Not us, not the CBN, not anyone!
ABCON’s plan is pretty simple: they want to scrub the parallel market clean and give naira a makeover from N1,045 to a spiffy N900 or N950 per dollar.
The cool part is that this ‘exchange rate makeover’ isn’t just happening in Lagos; they are spreading the magic to Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Kano. It’s like a nationwide sale, only instead of discounts, we’re getting better rates. How considerate!
Let’s just hope this plan really gives Naira a boost and doesn’t turn out to be just another twist in the never-ending horror story of our economy.
